INTERNATIONAL CHARITY INITIATIVE DIGITAL DREAMS

INTERNATIONAL CHARITY INITIATIVE DIGITAL DREAMS
Realizer: ICF Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health within the SupportMe project
Project goal:
The goal of the Digital Dreams initiative is to support children and adolescents living in the frontline areas of the East and South of Ukraine by providing technical means for online learning.
BACKGROUND OF THE ISSUE
As a result of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, which began in February 2022, the format of school education in the country has undergone significant changes. The regions of the East and South are subject to daily missile attacks. Due to the difficult security situation, the educational program in these areas is conducted exclusively online. As offline schools are not functioning, providing access to quality education through laptops, computers and tablets has become critical. Today, thousands of families of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and families in difficult life circumstances (LDCs) have lost everything and are unable to purchase the necessary equipment. As a result, children do not receive a quality basic education. Since October 2023, the ICF “Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health”, in cooperation with international philanthropists, has been implementing the Digital Dreams initiative as part of the SupportMe project. This initiative aims to provide such children with the necessary equipment through the reception and transfer of used gadgets. To date, the initiative has reached more than 60 children across Ukraine.

ЯК МОЖНА ДОПОМОГТИ
The project involves accepting used equipment from private patrons and companies to donate it to children. Your support can change the lives of children by giving them the opportunity to continue their education in an online format, despite the difficult circumstances of war.
We invite everyone who cares to join our initiative and contribute to the future of Ukrainian children. Your equipment can become an important tool for gaining knowledge and developing skills that will help children build their future.
