On April 11, 2012, Lord Norman Fowler visited the HealthRight Service Center for Women and Girls to speak with street-involved and HIV-positive girls and young women, and learn about the barriers faced by vulnerable youth in Ukraine.

On December 8, 2011 HealthRight International in Ukraine and Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health organized the informal Club meeting of representatives of NGOs working with vulnerable women. The meeting was dedicated to Pregnancy and Motherhood for HIV-positive women with drug use history. For this first meeting, which was held in press-lunch format, journalists from socially-oriented mass medias were invited.
HealthRight International in Ukraine held capacity building trainings for agencies working with at-risk children and youth and families in difficult living conditions in Kyiv and Donetsk.
In November 2011 HealthRight International in Ukraine organized two trainings for service providers in Kyiv and Donetsk in order to strengthen their professional potential and improve capacity in work with at-risk children, youth and families in difficult living conditions.
HealthRight Presented in Kyiv the “STEPS” HIV Prevention Program for At-risk Children and Youth
On November 30, 2011 Health Right International in Ukraine presented to the Kyiv city media the “STEPS” training program, aimed to prevent HIV and STIs incidence among street and at-risk children and youth, as well as to promote healthy lifestyle and reduce risk behaviors (alcohol and drug use, unprotected sex etc.).
At time with international campaign “16 Days Against Gender Violence” Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health and its founder HealthRight International launched a new project “Violence Free: Empowering Disadvantaged Women and Girls”
Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health and its founder HealthRight International with the start of the international campaign “16 Days Against Gender Violence” begin implementation of a new project “Violence Free: Empowering Disadvantaged Women and Girls” focused on rights of street-involved young women and girls, including HIV-positive and drug users. The Project is funded by UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women.
“HealthRight” Experts from Saint-Petersburg Conducted Training “Volunteering in Social Projects” for Kyiv Social Welfare Agencies
On October 25-26th 2011 HealthRight International in Ukraine organized training “Volunteering in Social Projects” for the representatives of 17 state and nongovernmental social welfare agencies in Kyiv city.
On the training Project Coordinators from HealthRight International in Saint-Petersburg (Russia) Elena Karaseva and Daria Navolskaya shared with Ukrainian colleagues their experience of organizing voluntary services in social projects.

Elton John and Elena Pinchuk announced their second joint project in Ukraine. Its goal is to help girls and young women who are spend most of their lives on the street and so are highly vulnerable to HIV, to gain access to HIV testing and to receive vital social, medical and legal assistance. The project is implemented by the global health and human rights organization HealthRight International, with the generous financial support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which is supported by the Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation.
Ukrainian NGOs Call For Widening Access to Reproductive and Perinatal Healthcare for Excluded Women
During the last week there were held discussions at two round tables and a press-conference, organized by the Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health, HealthRight International and Kiev Cell of All-Ukrainian Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS.
